      暨南大学是一所著名的华侨学府，以其悠久的历史和 “侨校+名校” 特色而享誉国内外。 “始有暨南，便有商科” ，早在1918年，暨南大学就开始设立商科，是中国最早开展商科教育的国立高等学府之一。1993年，暨南大学成为华南地区最早，全国首批开办MBA教育的26所院校之一。2000年全国学位与研究生教育发展中心组织专家对首批试办MBA教育的中国高校进行评估，暨南大学在华南地区排名第一。在2006年福布斯中国商学院排名中，暨南大学获MBA学员对商学院满意度排名第一。2006年暨南大学获得全国MBA联合会主席峰会主办权，这是华南地区第一次举办全国规模的MBA盛会。

暨南大学MBA的特色

培养方式

      ① 理论与实践相结合。暨南大学MBA教学将课堂讲授与案例分享等理论学习与企业实习、项目实践等相结合。在掌握扎实理论基础的同时，提高学员的实际操作能力。

      ② “华商” 特色的案例教学。 “开启华商智慧，传承华商文化” ，这是暨南大学MBA教育的特色。一方面，引进国际著名商学院的案例，使之具有国际视野；另一方面，本土与侨情相结合，教授与学生相结合，致力开发反映华人营商文化与经营特点的案例库。

      ③ 校内导师与社会实践导师相结合的方式。按照中国学位制度的规定，结合学校培养MBA的经验，采用导师负责与集体培养相结合、校内导师与社会实践导师相结合的方式。

      ④ 大学科平台教育和灵活的专业课程相结合。MBA课程包括核心课程、必修课程和选修课程。战略管理、营销管理、财务管理、生产运营管理、人力资源管理等核心课程外，学员还可以根据个人职业发展，选修管理学院其他专业的特色课程。(学习年限为3年，根据学员情况最多可延长至5年，授课时间安排在周末。)

招生对象
      1、港澳台地区永久居民（或同时持港澳居民身份证和《港澳居民来往内地通行证》者）；
      2、外籍华人及外国人；
      3、在国外连续居住满2年的华侨（至报名时请出具我国驻当地使领馆的身份居住证明）。
      上述人士凡品德良好，身体健康，均可报名申请。

一、确认报考资格
      考生报名前应仔细核对本人是否符合报考条件，凡不符合报考条件的考生将不予录取，相关责任由考生本人承担；详情可咨询暨南大学MBA教育中心。

二、预报名
      1、预报名时间：2010年1月至2010年4月30日；
      2、向暨南大学MBA教育中心缴交 暨南大学海外MBA预报名登记表.doc； 
        3、电子版请发送到omba@jnu.edu.cn或者把纸质版邮寄到广州暨南大学管理学院203办公室。

三、网上报名
      1、网上报名地址：http://yz.jnu.edu.cn/
      2、网上报名时间：2010年5月15日至30日

四、提交报名材料及报名费
      1、网上报名后自动生成的报名登记卡（贴近照，本人签名确认）；
      2、由毕业或肄业之大学密封的学业成绩表一份；
      3、统一格式的密封 攻读暨南大学研究生推荐书..doc2份，由高级讲师、副教授以上之学者2人推荐；其中一位推荐人可由其前雇主推荐；
      4、证书、文凭等学历证件及专业资格证明副本各一份；
      5、如有本人英语成绩之证明——全国大学英语统一考试(ＣＥＴ)、托福考试(ＴＯＦＥＬ)、美国文理或商科研究院入学考试(ＧＲＥ或ＧＭＡＴ)、英语普通程度会考英文(ＧＣＥ)或相当水平英语考试的成绩[外国留学生提供汉语水平考试成绩(HSK) ]，提供其中之一即可。
      6、近期正面半身免冠同一底片的一寸照片2张。
      7、通过邮局交纳报名费（报名费500元人民币，费用一经缴交， 恕不退还）。

2010 Enrollment Brochure of Jinan University for Recruiting MBA in Overseas Regions and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan

Jinan University is a famous university for overseas Chinese students, boasting a long history and a specialty of “Both an Overseas Chinese School and A Famous School” well-known at home and oversea. “With the establishment of Jinan University, Business department comes accordingly”, early in 1918, Jinan University has begun to set up business department, becoming the earliest one of national higher education institutions launching business education in China. In 1993, Jinan University became the earliest university in South China and one of 26 colleges and universities firstly launching MBA education in China. In 2000, the National Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education Development Center organized experts to evaluate China’s colleges and universities firstly launching MBA education for an experiment, and Jinan University ranked the first in South China. In Forbes Rank for China’s Business Schools in 2006, Jinan University obtained the first position of MBA students’ satisfaction to business colleges. In 2006, Jinan University was entitled to the sponsorship of the National MBA Federation Summit, which has been the first time in South China to hold such a worldwide MBA pageant.

Features of Jinan University MBA Education
① Diversified Culture Background featured with “Both an Overseas Chinese School and A Famous School”   Jinan University has a hundred-year history, and boasts the outstanding characteristics as an overseas Chinese school and diversified cultural features. There are totally over 10,000 students from 70 countries and regions in five continents, accounting for the one half of the total number of students, and ranking the top among all the higher education schools. And the number of postgraduates overseas accounts for 1/4 of the total of all the higher education schools. Cultivation Method
① Combination of Theory and Practice   MBA education of Jinan University will combine theory learning in the form of classroom lecture and case sharing with enterprise learning and project practices. ② Special Case Teaching for Overseas Chinese Students   “Open overseas Chinese wisdom, inherit the overseas Chinese culture”, this is the characteristic of MBA education of Jinan University. On one occasion, Jinan University brings in cases from international well-known business colleges, in an effort to make its MBA education up to an internationalized horizon; and on the other occasion, through the combination of local background and overseas characteristics, and as well as coordination of professors and students, Jinan University strives for developing the cases so as to reflect Chinese business culture and operation features.

③Adopts the coordination among tutors inside schools and social practices   In accordance with the regulations of China’s academic degree system, and through the combination of school’s experience in MBA education, Jinan University adopts the teaching method through combination of tutor’s being responsible and collective cultivation, and coordination among tutors inside school and in social practices.

④Combination of university platform education and flexible professional courses MBA education contains core courses, compulsory courses and elective course. Besides Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Production and Operation Management, HR Management and other core courses, MBA students in Jinan University may minor in special courses of other professions of Management College, in accordance with their personal career development. (The term of learning is three years, and may be prolonged up to five years in accordance with the individual situation of students themselves. The lecturing time is arranged at weekend.)

四、Submit Materials and Application Fee

1. Registration card automatically generating after online registration（with recent photo  and confirmed by your signature）;

2. A copy of certified transcript in a sealed envelope by the university the applicant graduated from or studied at; 

3. Two sealed recommendations in unified recommendation form by two references with an academic title of senior lecturer or associate professor or higher; for an MBA application, one of the references can be the applicant’s former employer;

4. Copies of certificates, diploma and other academic certificates, and as well as of the professional qualification certificate;

5.One of the following certificates shall be provided: CET, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, GCE or any English examination score of the equal level, or HSK score for foreign applicant.　

6. Applicant shall affix with two recent one-inch photos (front-faced, half-length, off-hat) to the same negative.
